a day of taking random photos!

I love to edit pictures, even though i might not be the best at it, the idea that i can take a good picture and make it even better just makes me happy. I really like the picture of the flower and also the bee one because i actually got up close to it which i would probably never do before but i knew it would end up being a good picture.
The one of the skeleton i took because my mom was putting up Halloween decorations that day.

International Photography Awards

1. how does your photography measure up to the works of other non-professional photographers?
My work measures up because i think i take good pictures, but at the same time we dont really know how to get the perfect settings as a professional photographer and i feel like professional photographers have more imagination with their picture taking.

2. what do you think you need to improve your work?
I think i need to know more about the settings of my camera and how they work.

3. what photographer's work do you feel inspired to follow?
Sharon Montrose, she is an amazing animal photographer. She takes picture of mostly dogs but i also love taking pictures of dogs, especially my dog.

4. what ideas did looking at these images spark?
To take my dog to more locations and to put and plain background behind him to make it look more professional. Also maybe my dog playing with other dogs.

5. choose one artist to highlight on your blog.
Sharon Montrose!

My baby, Lucky.

My other dog Fuji who was the the same dog (half pug/boston terrior) had to be put down because he couldnt breathe anymore.
My mom insisted on never getting a dog again, but then we saw that they were breeding the same type of dog and there was no question about it, we got lucky and of course hes alot more crazier than Fuji was but hes a good dog, sometimes!

3 of my best geometric photos

The assignment that we were assigned to do last week was of geometric shapes. There are alot of places you can find geometric photos but they have to either be at the right angle or in the right lighting. It was definitely a challenge but at the end i got the hang of it. It really helped looking at what others were doing so now i know what to look for.
